He'll top out at around 65 pounds of handsome, eccentric energy. Found as a stray in Tennessee, Styx has left his roaming days behind him and shows zero interest in escape artistry. Styx comes with a great foundation: he's housebroken, leash trained, and crate trained. He's easily excitable, and a high energy pup who loves treats, car rides, and splashing around in the kiddie pool. He enjoys being outside with his favorite human, or otherwise preferring to be indoors. Styx is friendly through and through - he loves meeting new people, gets along great with other dogs in the yard and out in public, and even lives happily with indoor cats. He tends to get a little too excited around other dogs when he's crated. He'd do just fine as an only dog or with some furry housemates. Given his hyper enthusiasm, Styx would be an amazing match for a family with kids who are 12 or older who can keep up with him, and a 5-foot fenced in yard would be perfect.
