Sophie (MD)

Sophie is a 1-year-old, 11 lb, female, miniature Dachshund-Chihuahua mix with a scruffy red wire-hair coat. She was found as a stray and doesn't have a known backstory, but she seems to love everyone she meets, both human and canine! Sophie is a high-energy love bug who is still very much a puppy. She enjoys playing with her toys and her dog friends. She can be a little "in your face" when she wants to play, which might not be for every dog. Sophie loves to sleep with her family pack at night and will need someone who is home with her.

Ideal Home

Sophie needs a home with a securely fenced yard and a canine buddy her size and age to play with. She would do best in a home without cats or small children.

Ongoing Health

Sophie is spayed and has no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Sophie is not crate-trained and will need assistance with housetraining. She also needs help learning to settle down when it's time to relax.
