This handsome 2-year-old, 50lb shepherd mix boasts a striking russet-red and black coat, expressive ears, and a face full of personality that suggests he's always in the middle of a very important conversation. Ernie is an athletic adventure buddy and an affectionate shadow, eager to be involved in whatever his people are up to. He's friendly, curious, playful, and wonderfully smart, and gets along great with dogs of all sizes, bringing a fun, gentle energy wherever he goes. Ernie has a way of giving you a mischievous look one second and melting into you for affection the next, making his "I can explain" bandana feel extremely believable! Medium-sized, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, Ernie is already polished where it counts while still keeping that joyful, goofy spark that makes him impossible not to love.
