Meet Clifford! This 7-year-old lovebug is searching for his special person to shower with affection. Clifford thrives on connection, whether it's snuggling up close, enjoying a leisurely walk, or engaging in a game of fetch. After some fun playtime, his whole face lights up with bright eyes, floppy ears, and the most contented smile.
Clifford is a dog of simple pleasures. While toys and treats aren't his biggest motivation, he's in his element with your undivided attention, or perhaps a bite of rotisserie chicken, his absolute favorite! He's fully potty trained and an exceptionally well-mannered companion at home. You won't find him counter-surfing, chewing on inappropriate items, or making any messes; he's truly an easygoing presence day-to-day.
He does experience some separation anxiety and can become stressed when left alone. However, he's making excellent progress with crate training and the support of medication. With consistent structure and patience, he'll continue to blossom.
Clifford would do best as the only dog in the home and would absolutely love a yard to roam and play in. While on leash, he can be protective and reactive towards new people and dogs. However, off-leash, his true friendly nature shines through, and he often seeks out pets and affection. He just needs a patient and understanding human to help guide him through those moments.

Ideal Home
Clifford would do best as the only dog in the home and would love a yard where he can stretch his legs and roll around.
Ongoing Health
He does experience some separation anxiety and can get stressed when left alone, but he’s been making great progress with crate training and the support of medication.

With continued structure and patience, he will keep improving. On leash, he can be protective and reactive toward new people and dogs, but off-leash he shows his true friendly nature. He just needs someone who understands him and can help guide him through those moments.
