Joy (She'll Get There)

Joy is the shyest of her litter, but don't let that fool you! She is gentle, harmless, and quietly extraordinary for the person patient enough to discover her sweet nature. Joy has never shown any aggression, but her world can be a little overwhelming right now. She needs someone who understands this and won't take her shyness personally. Joy does beautifully with other dogs, but people are still a work in progress from her perspective. She'll come around on her own timeline, so patience is key!

Ideal Home

Joy needs the most patient human we can find, someone who measures success in small steps and is willing to sit quietly with her, offering treats and companionship without pressure.

Ongoing Health

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, have had a wellness exam from our veterinarian, have been treated for fleas/worms, and are up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Joy is shy and still learning to trust people. She needs a patient owner who can give her time and space to warm up.

• Approved applications will be contacted to make an appointment for a 'meet and greet'.
• If Joy selects you, a second trip to the shelter will be required to pick her up and complete the adoption process.
