His journey began in Kashechewan First Nation, where families had to evacuate due to unsafe water conditions. Sadly, many beloved pets had to be left behind during this difficult time. Thankfully, Cruz was rescued and brought to safety. He is an incredibly sweet and affectionate boy who greets life with optimism and love. He enjoys spending time with his people and is happiest when he's exploring the outdoors, whether that's going for walks, playing in the yard, or discovering new sights and smells. As he continues to settle into foster care, his confidence grows every day. Cruz is proof that resilience and kindness can shine through even the toughest beginnings.
