Ellie - pending

My name is Ellie, and I'm a 2-year-old, 14-pound bundle of spunk! I love my humans so much that I want to be their one and only furry friend. I enjoy playing tug, chewing on my favorite bones, and cuddling up for naps. I also love walks, and I'm working on my leash skills and learning not to jump or get scared when I see strangers. I can be shy at first, but with patience, I warm up and give lots of snuggles. My favorite thing is nuzzling your neck! My foster mom says I learn quickly, especially when treats are involved. I already know how to sit, potty, and go into my crate. I'm practicing "stay," "wait," and "heel." While I'm crate-trained, I do get a bit vocal when I miss my people, so a home where I won't bother the neighbors would be ideal. I also need an active, peaceful home and lifestyle, as I'm not a fan of loud noises.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can soak up all the love myself, so no other pets, please! I'd do best in a home where I can get plenty of activity and wouldn't bother the neighbors. An active but peaceful home and lifestyle is a must, as I find loud noises scary. I also need a yard to run in, so an apartment is not the best fit for me.

Training & Support

I'm working on my leash skills, learning not to jump with excitement, and getting over my shyness with strangers. I'm also practicing "stay," "wait," and "heel." I can be vocal when left alone, so a home that understands this and can manage it is important.
