Duke-ADOPTION PENDING

Meet Duke! This approximately 2-year-old Dalmatian, weighing around 60 pounds, is a sweet boy who has overcome a lot and is now ready to find the loving forever home he deserves. Duke was found abandoned and eventually ended up in a high-kill shelter, but thankfully, he was rescued and is now thriving in foster care. His wonderful personality is shining through, and it's clear he's a true "velcro dog" who loves being close to his people, soaking up attention and affection. Whether it's car rides, couch cuddles, or just hanging out on the back porch, Duke is happiest by your side. He has a goofy, charming personality that's sure to win you over. Duke is affectionate, laid-back, loves cuddling, and is quite the ladies' man!

Ideal Home

Duke would love a home where he can be by your side for adventures and cuddles. He is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Duke is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, which was caught early. His veterinarians expect him to make a full recovery with no lasting health effects once treatment is complete.

Training & Support

Duke is exceptionally tolerant and gentle, allowing handling of his feet and face. He remains relaxed around his food and water bowls and shows no signs of resource guarding or aggression. We don't have information about how he does with children.
