Rex

Rex is an approximately six-year-old shepherd mix who was found wandering the streets of Houston. He was rescued by our team and brought into our care. Rex is a dog who clearly misses his past, despite being abandoned by his previous owners. He is a dominant dog with a strong personality, but he does not seek conflict. He can be a bit reserved and may warn you if he feels uncomfortable, but he responds well to kindness and is looking for someone who understands his need for gentle reassurance. Rex is grieving his past and is hoping for a patient and experienced adopter who can help him learn to trust again.
