Tanuki

Tanuki is a charming 69-pound senior gentleman, approximately 12-14 years old, who is looking for his forever home! He was initially surrendered because he was unwilling to move, but it was discovered that he was suffering from lumbar spondylosis, arthritis, and heartworm disease. After receiving much-needed treatment and pain management, Tanuki has truly come alive! He is happy, comfortable, and eager to share his second lease on life with a loving family. Tanuki is wonderfully polite with other dogs and we suspect he would be just as easygoing with cats. Two things that bring him immense joy are splashing in a pool and playing a good game of fetch!

Tanuki would thrive in a home where he can continue to enjoy his golden years. He is good with kids and dogs.

Ongoing Health

Tanuki has been treated for heartworm disease and is currently on pain management for his lumbar spondylosis and arthritis.

Training & Support

Tanuki is house-trained and knows basic commands. He's a gentle soul who loves affection and play.
