Chip is a 2-year-old, neutered male, Pit bull mix weighing around 60 lbs. He's a sweet and playful boy who loves to cuddle and be by your side. Chip can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but he quickly warms up and becomes a devoted best friend. He enjoys sniffing walks, is crate and house-trained, and loves spending time outdoors. Chip also has a fun-loving side and enjoys dressing up in costumes!
Ideal Home
Chip would do best with an experienced adopter who can provide patience and consistent love. He enjoys playing with calm, submissive dogs but would also be happy as an only dog with opportunities for socialization. Chip is not a fan of cats and would prefer a home without them. He can experience separation anxiety when left alone, but he is working on it and can be crated. He would thrive in a home where his humans are active and can include him in their outings and adventures. Chip has also done well with older children.
Ongoing Health
Chip is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Chip is crate-trained and potty-trained. He is still working on his separation anxiety, but crating has been effective when he is left alone. He would benefit from continued training and engagement to help him thrive.
