About Daniel (Danny Boy)

Daniel, also known as Danny Boy, is an unbelievably sweet dog who is completely obsessed with people. He loves to play, loves to cuddle, and loves being as close to his person as physically possible. Personal space is optional in Daniel’s world—he will happily follow you from room to room just to make sure you don’t forget how adored you are. Other dogs? Well… Daniel has decided that most of them simply aren’t handsome enough to be in his friend group. It’s nothing personal—he just has standards. Very high standards. Think of him as the gatekeeper of good looks and fluff. Cats, however, are a firm no. Daniel believes cats are suspicious little creatures who exist solely to test his patience, and he would much prefer a cat-free home where no one judges him from the top of the refrigerator. We named him Daniel because in Hebrew it means “God is my judge.” And God truly had the final say—guiding us to him just five minutes before he was scheduled for euthanasia at a local shelter. Against all odds, Daniel got his second chance, and he’s been nothing but love, joy, and gratitude ever since. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, soulful dog who will love you with his whole heart and stay right by your side—Daniel is ready to be your miracle!

Ideal Home

Daniel would thrive in a home with humans who want a clingy, affectionate best friend, plenty of time for play and cuddles, and no cats. He would also prefer a home without other dogs, as he likes to be the center of attention.
