Cody is a handsome 3-year-old Golden mix who weighs about 60 lbs. He arrived with us about a week ago and has been showering volunteers with love and attention ever since. Cody has a great attitude and is a smart boy – he's already mastered "sit" and "shake"! We suspect he's house-trained, as he hasn't had any accidents in his kennel. He walks well on a leash, though an old foot injury might limit him on very long excursions.

Ideal Home

Cody would do best in a home where he is the only pet. He was initially nervous around other dogs, but has since warmed up and is selective, doing well with some of the female dogs here.

Cody has an old foot injury that may affect his ability to go on long walks.

Training & Support

Cody is a quick learner and already knows some basic commands. With continued positive reinforcement and a consistent routine, he'll be a wonderful companion.
