Chloe Francine the Snack Loving Cuddle Bug Old Lady

Sometimes there is nothing better than to spend time with those who are enjoying retired living! They are chill, have no worries, have done the hard work and are ready to just enjoy the slow life. That's exactly how we would describe our girl Chloe Francine. She is a sweet, people oriented, retired lady who is just looking for a space to spend the rest of her days in serendipity.

We believe Chloe is a petite pittie mix who is about 7 years old and weighs approximately 47 pounds. Due to her being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But looking at her face, there is no doubt that there are at least a little pittie in her. I mean look at that adorable snoot!

Chloe has met so many different types of dogs with varying personalities and sizes! She is not a playful lady with other dogs. She gives off more of the laid back chill, hangout type of vibes. She does not need the company of another dog to help her feel comfortable and open up nor does she need another dog to fulfill her energy needs. She has no problem being the only dog in your life and being the center of your world. She is a lady who has worked hard all her life and wants to enjoy the rest of her dog years being your one and only! That goes for cats too! She is super interested in the fact that they are a different species than her! She tends to investigate them more than a feline would appreciate being investigated. She would do best in a home where she is the only pet to receive the full adoration of her humans!

Chloe has passed the puppy phase energy wise and has no problem spending her days laying in the best sunny spots on the floor or on the couch with a good snack. She is definitely your movie watching buddy or your snuggle partner. She is so affectionate and loving to her people! Her foster brags about how sweet she is! She is always looking to give kisses! She is also super treat motivated! She showed off her sit while she was with us and enjoyed every bite of the sausage rewards! She is also very trainable! Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? You will see in her video how our Director of Behavior, Olga, quickly gets Chloe to understand the proper way to walk on a leash!

Chloe loves her people! We didn't get to see how she was around small children, but we believe she would do best with older dog savvy kids that know how to properly enrich an older lady like Chloe! She loves loves treats and will gratefully and quickly take it out of your hands. So it's best if the giving hands are bigger! Chloe is small enough to be apartment friendly or she will equally enjoy the life of a house with a yard for her to sunbathe in!

Overall, Chloe is just a sweet older lady who is looking for a family to show her the good dog life! She is ready to devote her life to the one who is willing to share a slice of theirs with her.

Ideal Home

Chloe would do best in a home where she is the only pet. She would also do best with older, dog-savvy children. Chloe is apartment friendly or would enjoy a home with a yard.

We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT.
