Emma

Emma is a 2-year-old female German Shepherd mix who is a true people-pleaser and will quickly become a loyal member of your family. She loves to make her people proud and blossoms when she feels comfortable. Emma knows a handful of commands, is friendly with other dogs, and is learning to be a great walking buddy. She enjoys playing ball, accepting treats, cuddling, and spending time with her people. She even loves splashing in her own kiddie pool!

Emma's exuberance and strength can be a surprise, but she has been working hard and is learning about personal and practical boundaries. She's ready for a home that can continue her obedience training, strengthening her skills and your bond.

Ideal Home

Emma would make an excellent pal for another playful dog. Due to her strength, a home with adults or teens who are ready for her energy is recommended. She has shown hesitation with strangers but becomes comfortable with proper introductions. She is not a good fit for homes with cats or children.

Ongoing Health

Emma is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Emma knows "Sit," "Down," "Come," and "Touch." She walks fairly well on leash and is continuing to work on this skill. She is eager to please and will thrive with consistent positive reinforcement and obedience training.
