Hi, I'm Braxx! I'm a 1-year, 3-month-old neutered male, weighing around 51 lbs. I come with a mega-watt smile and enough love to fill your whole house! After spending three months at the shelter, I'm now living my best life in a foster home and have already figured out the routine and made myself right at home within 72 hours. I love people and dogs, and I'm ready to find my forever family!

Ideal Home

I'd love a home that can match my energy and provide me with an active, loving environment. I'd enjoy a canine sibling who likes to play, but I'm also happy to entertain myself or play with my favorite humans. Since I'm still young and curious, I'd recommend giving me some space to earn trust before having full run of the house. I have a prey drive toward squirrels and birds, and I haven't been tested with cats. I'm also quick on my feet and will zoom out an open door, so secure doors and gates are a must.

I am neutered and up-to-date on all my vaccinations.

Training & Support

I'm a smart cookie! I'm potty trained and my crate game is strong – I go in easily and stay quiet. I know "sit," "paw," "lay," "stay," and "here." I walk best on a harness, and while I get excited around other dogs on leash, the harness makes a big difference. I can be a little jumpy when I first meet new people due to excitement, but it's already improving. I do have a lot of energy, but as long as I'm getting adequate exercise, I'm calm in the house. When my people are working, you'll find me chewing a bone, playing with a toy, or catching a nap. I'm not destructive, but I am super curious about what's in every closet and drawer!
