Sugar

Sugar is a 2-year-old, 30lb bundle of pure joy, built short and stout like a bulldog. She greets everyone with an instant smile and is wonderfully dog and kid-friendly! Sugar was rescued from a crowded shelter in Texas and is now embracing her new life in Florida with infectious enthusiasm. She's the ultimate companion, always ready for an adventure or a snuggle session. Whether it's a car ride to the beach or a cozy afternoon nap on the couch, she's happiest when by your side.

Ideal Home

Sugar thrives with an active family who will include her in all their adventures, from hikes to patio brunches. She also loves to be a professional snuggler after a fun day out.

Ongoing Health

Sugar is currently heartworm positive, a condition that is not contagious to other dogs or humans and is 100% treatable. Mission Mutt Dog Rescue is covering all of her medical care and treatment at New Tampa Animal Hospital.

Training & Support

Sugar is a happy and adaptable girl. The rescue provides all food and supplies for fosters, and covers 100% of her medical logistics for both fosters and adopters.
