Colby Jack

Colby Jack is a happy and loving 4-year-old Jack Russell-Boxer mix who weighs about 35lbs. He absolutely adores his people and thrives on cuddles, leaning into your leg and offering a big smile when he's getting affection. Colby enjoys the company of other laid-back dogs and can often be found exploring the backyard with his foster sister, Elly. While he's a great playmate for humans, he can be a bit too energetic for very young children. Colby is crate trained, though it's not his favorite place to be. He walks well on a leash and would make an excellent hiking or running companion. Having overcome a difficult start in life spent on a chain, Colby has blossomed into a deeply affectionate dog who craves attention and strong leadership.

Ideal Home

Colby would do best in a home that isn't in a noisy, congested area. He would also greatly benefit from having another dog to play with. He is not fond of delivery trucks or excessive strangers.

Colby is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.

Colby is a very smart dog who craves attention and strong leadership. He needs a consistent and confident pack leader to help him feel secure. He has already passed professional obedience training and knows the basics.
