Maudie

Maudie is a sweet Dachshund mix who, along with her sister Marcie, is looking for a patient and loving forever home. She's a bit shy and skittish around new people, but with time and gentle trust-building, she has learned to accept affection from our staff. Maudie is active, alert, and a bit reactive, likely due to her past experiences before coming to us from a shelter that closed down. She yearns for a stable and loving environment where she can truly feel secure and cherished.

Ideal Home

Maudie would thrive in a quiet home with experienced pet parents who understand her need for patience and gentle encouragement. Due to her nervous and high-strung nature, she should not be placed in a home with children.

Ongoing Health

Maudie is up to date on her vaccines, has been spayed, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Maudie is not yet housebroken but is crate trained and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to build her confidence and encourage her to learn new things.
