Bartholomew

Bartholomew has been with us for a while, and frankly, he said he is ready to pack it up and move in with his forever family! Bartholomew is 2 years old and just the sweetest boy with the cutest mug! He is ready for his forever home and eager to start his new life.

Ideal Home

Bartholomew would thrive in a home with experienced dog owners, particularly those familiar with pitt bull-type dogs. He can be anxious with lots of new activity, so a calmer environment would be ideal. He is good with other dogs with slow, proper introductions but is not good with small dogs. He may also be best as an only dog. Meeting new people makes Bartholomew nervous, so a home that understands and can facilitate proper human introductions will be key for his success.

Ongoing Health

Bartholomew is completely vaccinated and neutered, so he is ready for adoption!

Training & Support

Bartholomew is housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic commands. His new family should continue to provide gentle guidance and positive reinforcement, especially when introducing him to new people and situations, to help him feel more comfortable and confident.
