This approximately 1.5-year-old, 31-pound lady, who might be a Boxer and Terrier mix, is the perfect size for both exciting outings and cozy nights in. Lacey is a social butterfly with Olympic-level people and doggy skills. She navigates interactions with dogs of all sizes and personalities with grace, playing chase games, offering polite greetings, and knowing when to take a break – a true furry diplomat! She's equally as smitten with humans, offering gentle kisses and accepting treats with remarkable politeness. Lacey is a dream on leash, walking beautifully and ready for neighborhood strolls, patio dates, road trips, hikes, or market visits. She's also surprisingly chill around cats, and while she hasn't met children yet, her gentle and adaptable nature suggests she'd be a wonderful family dog. We can absolutely arrange a kid-test for interested adopters. Lacey is crate trained, treat-motivated, and simply makes life easier. She embodies that rare balance of being playful yet calm, social yet respectful, adventurous yet cuddly, and confident yet gentle.

Lacey would thrive in a home that can offer both outdoor adventures and indoor relaxation. She's adaptable and could do well with playful dog siblings or as an only dog. She'd also be happy in an apartment with an active family or a home with a backyard.

Lacey is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Transport includes real-time tracking and photo updates. A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
