July is an 8-year-old, spayed female Pitbull weighing 59 pounds. She's a rescue from a Texas county shelter and is currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas. July is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to cuddle and shower her people with attention. She has a moderate energy level, enjoying a couple of walks a day and playtime with her toys, which often results in adorable zoomies. She walks nicely on a leash with some guidance, rides well in the car, and is comfortable in her crate. July is fully house-trained and generally non-destructive, though she might occasionally snatch an unattended sandal.
Ideal Home
July would thrive in any home, whether it's an apartment or a house, as long as she has people to love and a cozy spot to snuggle. While she's generally gentle, supervised play with very young children is recommended due to her size and exuberance during zoomies. She has done well with another dog and would likely enjoy a canine companion, but she's also happy to be the only pet.
Ongoing Health
July has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
July is eager to please and responds well to guidance. She would benefit from continued leash training. While generally non-destructive, it's a good idea to keep shoes picked up to prevent her from occasionally taking a sandal.
