Skittles

Meet Skittles, a charming 14-week-old terrier mix with an adorable underbite and a heart full of love! Skittles, along with his sibling Sweet Tarts, is a survivor. They both bravely battled Parvovirus shortly after arriving at our rescue. Thankfully, they received the Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody Vaccine, which helped save their lives. Their age has been carefully determined by our veterinarian based on their teeth. Skittles is ready to bring joy and playful energy to his forever home!

Ideal Home

A home that can provide a secure fenced yard is essential for Skittles' safety and happiness. He is good with cats and children under 8. We are unsure how he would do with children 8 and up.

Ongoing Health

Skittles has fully recovered from Parvovirus and is now a healthy puppy. He has been fully vetted, which includes being spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. He also received the Bordetella vaccine and is on monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. A health examination and certificate for interstate travel are included.

Training & Support

Skittles is not yet house-trained and will require consistent guidance and patience to learn.

Transporation

Skittles is currently in Georgia and will be traveling to New Jersey for our adoption event on July 11-12, 2026, at Petco in Totowa, New Jersey. Transport to the adoption event is provided.
