ZCL-D-Angel

Angel is a beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd looking for her forever person. She was adopted by an elderly woman after her husband passed away, and sadly, her owner passed away unexpectedly in September. Angel has been in foster care since then, and while her current foster family loves her, they've realized she would thrive in a home with a more dedicated handler and plenty of space to run.

Ideal Home

Angel would do best with a younger handler who can match her energy and provide consistent training. She's okay with children, especially girls, but she doesn't tolerate boys as well. She also doesn't get along with other animals and can be reactive to passing cars. A large space where she can exercise freely would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Angel is up-to-date on her shots and is microchipped. She is currently intact, but her foster family can arrange for her to be spayed if that's a requirement for her new home.

Training & Support

Angel is a smart girl who knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, shake paw, and kennel up, though she can be a bit stubborn and requires a "treat" incentive. She is housebroken and will alert you when she needs to go outside by whining or pawing at the door, or by playfully grabbing your forearm or bringing you a shoe. Consistency and diligence in training will be key to her success.
