Cookie

Cookie is a sweet, 2-year-old, 50-55 lb German Shepherd mix who is spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipping. She's house and crate trained, though she prefers not to be crated. Cookie is good with most dogs and enjoys playing, but can be a bit dominant, so a doggy sibling would need to be accepting of that. She has not been tested with children or cats. Cookie absolutely loves treats and is eager to please for a tasty reward. She also enjoys outdoor time and would do best in a home with a big yard, as she loves to explore and be in nature. Because of her love for the outdoors and preference against crating, she would likely not be a good fit for an apartment.

Ideal Home

Cookie would thrive in a home with a big yard where she can explore and enjoy outdoor time. She would also do best in a home without cats or young children, as she has not been tested with them. A home where she doesn't need to be crated is ideal.

Cookie is heartworm negative and on prevention. She is current on vaccinations and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Cookie is house and crate trained, but she does not like to be crated. She can be a bit dominant with other dogs, so a home with a dog who wouldn't mind a bossy female would be best.
