Kara is a 9-month-old (born 08/01/25) Terrier and Pug mix weighing about 9 pounds, and she’s a tiny bundle of sweetness, playfulness, and puppy charm. With her silly personality and bright, happy energy, she has a way of making every day a little more fun. She absolutely loves snuggles and being close to her people, whether that’s curling up for some quiet cuddle time or bouncing around for a play session. Kara is your classic goofy puppy—curious, affectionate, and always ready to be part of whatever is going on.

Ongoing Health
Kara's adoption fee includes her spay/neuter surgery, full (age-appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, and flea and tick prevention.
Training & Support
Kara is doing very well with her potty training and continues to make great progress. She is also still improving her leash skills, and with a bit of patience and consistency, she’ll keep gaining confidence on her walks.

Transportation
Kara is currently out of town but will be transported to you when adopted. Transport fees are included in the adoption fee. Our dogs are rescued from shelters and placed in foster homes in the NJ/NY area. Once an animal has an application or an adopter is interested, arrangements for transport will be made. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
