Angie is a 4-year-old, 56 lb pittie mix with a heart full of love and a body built for ultimate coziness. She's the perfect "house hippo," specializing in professional snuggling, world-class sunbathing, and being your most devoted shadow. If you're looking for a dog with pittie affection but with a more relaxed demeanor, Angie is your girl! She's got a shiny black coat, a sweet blocky head, and a face that will melt your heart. Angie is easygoing and loves to hang out near her human, napping or enjoying the sunshine. She's an A+ snuggler and is happiest curled up by your side, making her the ideal little spoon.
Ideal Home
Angie would be a wonderful family dog and has done well with children ages 4-10. She would be happiest in a home with children around 6 years and older who can appreciate her calm and gentle nature. Angie enjoys the company of other mellow, respectful dogs but would also be content as your one and only pet. She needs a home without cats, as they are a bit too interesting for her.
Ongoing Health
Angie is a rescue and while we can't guarantee breed or age, she is believed to be approximately 4 years old and currently weighs 56 lbs. Her adoption fee includes all vetting, spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and a 12-month heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Angie is crate trained and has proven to be a wonderful houseguest, able to stay in her kennel for up to eight hours. She is a quiet dog. Her foster has noted that Angie occasionally chews on shoes and magazines, but this can be managed by keeping tempting items out of reach and by crating her when unsupervised.

Angie is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). You will be able to track your pet's journey in real-time.
