Meet Mildred - Sweet, Resilient, and So Ready to Be Loved!

Once abandoned and covered in motor oil, Mildred arrived heartbreakingly thin and unwell. With time, care, and so much love, she has transformed into a healthy, grateful, incredibly sweet companion who is ready for her forever home. She is a distemper survivor with a tiny sleep-time twitch, but is fully recovered from anemia and ehrlichia. Mildred is calm, affectionate, and wonderfully gentle, and after everything she has survived, she deserves a soft place to land and a family who will cherish her.

Ideal Home

Mildred would do best in a quiet home. She is great with teens, but is not suited for young children.

Ongoing Health

Mildred is a distemper survivor with a tiny sleep-time twitch. She is fully recovered from anemia and ehrlichia.

Transporation

Mildred is located in Abbotsford, BC, Canada. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions during the summer months, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border. This remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
