Meet Oakley! He's a charming 68lb Terrier/Pitbull mix with an estimated birthday of 12/16/2021. Oakley is the sweetest boy who will follow you around like your shadow, always wanting to be in the same room. His foster mom describes him as independent and very smart, already knowing commands like "sit" and "get on your bed."
Walks are Oakley's absolute favorite activity, and he's a pro at leash walking. He understands the cue to "slow down" when needed. Oakley tolerates other dogs but would likely prefer a home where he's the only canine companion. He does have a playful interest in chasing cats and squirrels. Above all, Oakley loves to be by your side and cuddle up for some quality time.
Oakley's sweet nature is even more remarkable considering what he's overcome. He was found as a stray in a rough neighborhood, emaciated and with a severely injured ear. Despite his past hardships, he's ready to offer the sweetest greetings and tail wags to his forever family.
