Turkey

Turkey is a handsome Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix who has been with us for a while and is eagerly awaiting his forever home. Around 8-9 years old, Turkey originally came to us as a stray in 2019. He's an active and intelligent boy who loves to stay busy! His favorite pastimes include "racing" other dogs through the fence line in our play yards, splashing in baby pools, enjoying walks by the creek, and going on hikes. Turkey knows some basic commands like "sit" and "give paw," and he walks nicely on a leash. With a little time and patience, Turkey will show you his true affectionate and loyal side, becoming your devoted companion. Because he's been with us for some time, Turkey may need a few visits to get to know his potential adopter before making a decision.

Turkey needs to be the only animal in the home and requires an adult-only household.

Training & Support

Turkey is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is a smart boy who knows basic commands. He may require a few visits to build trust and show his true affectionate nature.
