This 1-year-old, approximately 45-pound Boxer/Pittie mix is the full package: loyal, playful, incredibly affectionate, and a total goofball with a signature smile that will melt your heart. Tango was a rescue, so his exact breed and age are our best guess. He has a perfect compact body and the most handsome face you've ever seen.

Tango has never met a stranger he doesn't like! He enters a room and instantly makes everyone feel like an old friend. He's highly food-motivated, and with treats, you'll become the center of his universe. His foster mom's favorite thing about him is how he’ll climb into her lap and gaze into her eyes, making her feel like the most important person in the world. He is cuddly beyond belief and would thrive in a home where he can snuggle up next to you, soaking in all the love.
Ideal Home
Tango has lived harmoniously with a pack of four dogs of varying ages and energy levels and also excels in a busy doggy daycare environment with 20-30 dogs. He's great at reading the room, playing respectfully, and can hold his own in a roughhouse. He would thrive in a home with another medium-energy dog who enjoys playtime. Tango is crate-trained and sleeps through the night. He would do best in a home with a yard for zoomies and with older, dog-savvy children who will love him as much as he loves them. Cats are not his cup of tea.
Ongoing Health
Tango is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP vaccines with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple deworming treatments, and is microchipped with free lifetime registration. He is also up-to-date on flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Tango is a well-behaved boy who walks beautifully on leash and is already crate trained. He's ready to be your adventure buddy and couch companion.

Transportation
Tango is located in Texas but can be transported nationwide. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
