Rita

Rita is a resilient and loving dog who came to us from the Santa Cruz Shelter. She was found with a severely embedded collar, but thanks to prompt medical attention, she has made a full recovery and is now thriving. Rita is currently living with our vet tech in Utah and is eager to find her forever home. She's a social butterfly who adores cats and would likely be a wonderful companion for children.

Ideal Home

Rita would do well in a home that can provide slow and gentle introductions to any resident dogs. She instantly warms up to cats and is expected to be great with children.

Ongoing Health

Rita has fully healed from her previous medical issues and has no ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Rita is house-trained and ready to be a part of your family. We recommend continuing with slow introductions for any dog-to-dog interactions to ensure a smooth transition.
