Minnie

Meet Minnie! Minnie is a sweet and friendly 5-year-old, 25-pound, female beagle/terrier mix who absolutely adores attention from her humans. Everyone she meets falls in love with this charming girl! She's a tripod, but that doesn't slow her down one bit – Minnie is energetic and loves to play in the yard, especially when there are squirrels and birds to watch! After playtime, she's happy to settle down for a nap or just hang out with her favorite people. Minnie has even done well with cats in her foster home and has excellent house manners, including being housetrained.

Minnie's past wasn't always so bright, but she's left it behind and is ready for a loving forever home. She was found with a painful leg injury, but her sweet nature shone through, leading to an urgent plea for her rescue. PetConnect Rescue stepped in, brought her to the DC area, and provided her with the necessary medical care, including the amputation of her irreparable leg. Despite her past challenges, Minnie has so much love and happiness to give! She'd love nothing more than to curl up in your lap for cuddles and pets on a spring evening.

Minnie would love a home where she can get plenty of attention and enjoy playtime in the yard.

Ongoing Health

Minnie is up-to-date on vaccines, preventatives, and has had bloodwork. She has also undergone heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Minnie is housetrained and has good house manners. She is eager to find her person(s) to love!

• An important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on monthly preventatives, and examined annually by your vet.
• The adoption fee for Minnie is $425, which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.
