Timmy Too Cute Sweets

Timmy Too Cute is the puppy you get when you decide to dial down the intensity just a notch. He's still playful, goofy, and has that adorable puppy charm, but instead of a whirlwind of energy, he's more like a sweet little shadow who enjoys bursts of zoomies followed by well-deserved naps. His ears are a standout feature – uniquely floppy and melting to one side, they add to his cartoonish good looks, especially with his sleek, chocolate-brown-in-the-sun coat.

At just six months old, Timmy is already showing himself to be a well-rounded companion. He's affectionate and loving without being clingy, happy to cuddle when invited but also content to entertain himself nearby. He enjoys playing with his foster siblings in the yard, participating with enthusiasm but not leading the charge of puppy chaos. He’s a calm observer, a little old soul in a puppy’s body.

Timmy has shown excellent social skills with other dogs, greeting them politely and sharing toys. He's not pushy and will remove himself from overwhelming situations, preferring to seek comfort behind handlers. He naturally gravitates towards calmer, gentler personalities. This makes him a great candidate for a home with a friendly, respectful dog companion who enjoys calm play and doesn't engage in constant roughhousing.

While Timmy has shown interest in cats, viewing them as potential playmates to chase, a home without cats is recommended for now. However, with continued training and socialization, further cat testing might be possible in the future, especially with a confident, dog-savvy cat and another playful dog to help balance his energy.

Timmy is also shaping up to be a wonderful family dog. He handles gentle affection well, isn't overly jumpy with people, and could likely do well with children after proper introductions and testing. He settles beautifully indoors and walks nicely on leash. He has a manageable medium energy level and is treat-motivated. He will, of course, need continued guidance with potty training, enrichment, and general puppy training, but he's starting with a fantastic foundation.

Ideal Home

Timmy would thrive in a home with a friendly, respectful dog companion. He’d also love humans who appreciate a calmer puppy personality, enjoy cozy naps on the couch, and are ready for yard sniffing adventures. He'll definitely appreciate plenty of treats and daily compliments on his beautiful ears!

Training & Support

Timmy is treat-motivated and walks nicely on leash. He will need continued structure, enrichment, and potty training, as is typical for any puppy.

• A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
• This fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship).
• Adopters receive discounts on Embark DNA tests, a 30-day Trupanion insurance trial, a free GoodPup training session, discounts on Rover Training, a discount on Fetch subscription, Petco coupons, a discount on Dr. Cuddles products, and discounted preventative medications.
• Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.

Transporation

Timmy is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will be able to track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates.
