Oliver

Meet Oliver, a handsome Blue Heeler/Pit Bull Terrier mix with unique speckles that make him look like a true doggy model! He's about 1 year old and weighs 51 lbs. Oliver had a rough start, previously living in a garage, but despite his past, he's incredibly affectionate and sweet. He craves attention and is eager to please, ready to shower you with hugs and kisses once he deems you part of his bestie club! He walks wonderfully on a leash and stays close to his people.

Ideal Home

Oliver needs a patient and understanding home that can help him build confidence. He would do best in a home without small children, as he can be fearful of them.

Ongoing Health

Oliver is heartworm negative. His adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and heartworm testing.

Training & Support

Oliver experiences some anxiety when crated, so he'll need a heavy-duty crate if left alone. He can be nervous around new dogs and tends to mirror their behavior. With very slow and careful introductions to other playful, friendly dogs, he has the potential to become great pals and enjoys being silly and playful once comfortable. Oliver is protective of his food and treats around other animals and will need to be fed separately. He is fearful of cats.
