Lucy IX

Hi there! We're Linus and Lucy IX, a bonded pair of 7-year-old fawn Boxer littermates looking for our forever home. We were surrendered because our owner could no longer care for us, and since we've never been apart, we need to find a home together – that means double the Boxer love and fun! We're described as friendly, active, smart, playful, and affectionate, though we can also be a bit noisy and nervous. We've bonded closely with a resident pug after a few weeks of getting acquainted and have shown we can be calm around a visiting niece after an initial period of excitement. We're house-trained, but may need some crate training if that's a requirement in your home. We sleep on furniture at night and are good about being left alone for short periods. We don't dig or try to escape when outside. Loud noises like thunder and fireworks can be scary for us, but we absolutely love car rides, chew toys, tug-of-war, daily walks, snuggling, and getting pets!

Ideal Home

We need a home that can accommodate two energetic Boxers. We've done well with a resident dog and a visiting child after some adjustment time, and while we bark at cats we see from a distance, we haven't had direct interaction.

Ongoing Health

We are healthy and have no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

We are house-trained and generally well-behaved outdoors. We might need some guidance with crate training if that's part of your routine. We can be nervous and noisy at times, and loud noises can be a trigger.
