Chance

Chance is a handsome 3–4-year-old neutered male Catahoula mix who weighs approximately 55–65 pounds. He's heartworm negative, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and crate-trained. This energetic boy is active, playful, and full of life, always ready for an adventure. He barely escaped the shelter and is now eagerly awaiting the second chance he truly deserves.

Ideal Home

Chance would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, providing him the space to romp and play. He'd do best with an active family or individual, or with a well-matched canine companion who can match his energy levels. He is a great fit for a single person, a couple, or a family with school-age children. Given his prey drive, a home without cats would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Chance is heartworm negative and has received all his age-appropriate vaccinations.

Training & Support

Chance is crate trained and rides well in the car without anxiety. He plays nicely with other dogs who have a similar energy level. He is described as very smart and eager to learn, showing great potential for mastering new skills with consistent training and positive reinforcement.
