Whether she's soaking up the sunshine in the grass, leaning in for pets, or simply relaxing beside you, Leona has a wonderfully calm presence that makes every moment feel a little sweeter. When meeting new people, Leona can be a little unsure at first and appreciates a slow, patient introduction. Once she realizes she's safe, her affectionate personality shines through. Volunteers describe her as incredibly sweet, often choosing to sit close by for pets, reassurance, and treats. She loves gentle attention and seems to blossom with familiar faces, greeting them with happy tail wags and a soft, loving demeanor. Leona is ready to trade her kennel for a cozy couch and a family who will cherish the quiet joy she brings every single day.
