Speckles

Speckles is a very special boy, one we're lucky to have in our care! He was spotted chasing cars, malnourished and terrified, but determined to save himself. Brave Speckles was at risk of being hit by a car, so we brought him in as soon as we could. He's funny and easy-going, but a bit unpolished on a leash. Speckles is very gentle with toys and keeps an immaculate kennel, which makes us think he once had a true home where he had mastered housetraining.

At 50lbs, he's the perfect size and only an estimated 3 years old, making him the perfect age for a long lifetime of fun and adventure! Whether it's snuggling on the couch or sunbathing in the backyard, Speckles loves human companionship more than anything. If a medium-energy dog who's not too big and not too small is what you have in mind, give Speckles a chance!

Ideal Home

Speckles loves human companionship and would do well in a home where he can be part of the family activities.

Ongoing Health

Speckles has recovered from starvation and is now healthy.

Training & Support

Speckles is a bit unpolished on a leash and will need some continued training in this area. He appears to be housetrained.
