At only 4 years old, Valor is a remarkable dog who was rescued from a place of unimaginable cruelty. Despite the hardships he's endured, Valor remains a loving and affectionate companion. He craves human connection, seeking hugs and wanting to be held close. He leans into affection, making up for lost time and finding comfort in your presence. Valor's gentle nature is evident in his calm demeanor; he's not destructive, doesn't mark in the house, and walks politely on a leash. He's incredibly obedient, always attuned to his person, and has a strong desire to be close and connected. Valor also enjoys toys and is still learning some basic doggy skills, like catching a ball, which is a testament to his resilience and joy in simply being a dog.

Ideal Home

Valor needs to be the only pet in the home, as he cannot live with other dogs or cats due to his past experiences.

Ongoing Health

Valor has undergone extensive medical care and rehabilitation. He is heartworm negative and microchipped.

Training & Support

Valor is well-behaved indoors and on leash. He is still learning some new skills and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and a stable, loving environment.
