Meet Zeppelin! This sweet 18-month-old, 40-pound Belgian Malinois mix is a gentle soul who might be shy at first, but she's a loving and calm young lady just waiting for her forever family to help her blossom. She gets along well with people and other dogs, and her quiet nature is a pleasant surprise for her breed mix. Zeppelin is making great progress with her house training, knows how to use a doggy door, and settles well in her kennel. She'll need continued patience and support to build confidence with leash walking as new experiences can still be a bit overwhelming for her. Zeppelin is looking for a patient, easygoing family who understands shy dogs and is willing to help her gain confidence at her own pace in a calm and loving home.

Ongoing Health
Zeppelin is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, DAPP, and Intra-Trac 3. She has also been treated with Drontal Plus and is tested for heartworm with the IDEXX SNAP 4Dx Plus Test. She is microchipped and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
Training & Support
Zeppelin will need continued work and confidence-building on a leash, as new experiences can still be a little overwhelming for her. She is doing great with house training and knows how to use the dog door. Commitment to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization is required.

Transportation
Zeppelin is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process. We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.
