Diggie Doodlebug is an 11 lb bundle of fluffy charm, looking like a tiny, scruffy muppet with a perfect button nose. He's estimated to be around 4 years old and is a Shih Tzu mix with a playful spirit, a sensitive heart, and a deep devotion to his people. While his exact breed and age are our best guess, his charming personality is undeniable! Diggie is a smart and lovable boy who blossoms with comfort and confidence. He adores toys, especially digging through dog beds with dramatic flair, and forms strong bonds with his family. He has a special love for children and would thrive in a home with them. Diggie has also proven to be a good housemate to cats and can get along with calm, easygoing dogs after proper introductions. When he's comfortable, he's a bouncy and playful companion!
Ideal Home
Diggie would truly thrive in a home with children. While he can do well with calm, easygoing dogs after slow introductions, he is not a fan of crates and finds them stressful. A home with a secure yard would be ideal as he continues to gain confidence with leash walking.
Ongoing Health
Diggie has no specific health conditions to report at this time.
Training & Support
Diggie is not currently leash trained but is actively practicing with his foster. He is trustworthy in the home and does not require a crate. He is a relationship-first dog and may take time to settle in, so patience and understanding are key to helping him build confidence.
