Patty

Hi there! I'm Patty, and I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy with a heart-shaped nose and a little tail that wags with all its might! I'm originally from Texas, so I'm still getting used to the colder weather and absolutely love snuggling up in a warm blanket. I'm told I'm quite the cuddler and I sleep quietly in my kennel at night.

While I can be a bit shy and timid when I first meet new people or try new things, I warm up super quickly. I'm working hard on potty training and doing great with frequent potty breaks. I'm also eager to learn to be polite and master the art of leash walking – especially with the promise of tasty treats! As a playful puppy, I adore my toys, especially bones and chewables. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I'm still figuring out the fun in fetching them!

I absolutely love people of all ages, even the little ones! I do get excited and might jump up to say hello, but I'm learning manners. I've also met a cat who seems to like me, and I'm slowly getting used to him. I've also met some bigger dogs who've shown me the ropes, and I enjoy playing with them in the yard.

Ideal Home

I'd love a home with someone who can see past my initial shyness and appreciate my amazing spirit. My ideal humans will continue to teach me manners, take me on lots of walks, and enjoy plenty of cuddles.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy pup with no known ongoing health issues.

Training & Support

I'm still learning to be polite, especially when it comes to jumping up to greet people. I'm also working on leash walking. I'm a treat-motivated learner and very eager to please, so with patience and consistency, I'll master these skills!
