Meet Fernanda! This adorable 3-month-old Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix, with her soulful amber-green eyes, sweet pink nose, and soft caramel-and-white coat, is ready to steal your heart. Her constantly wagging tail and joyful personality are infectious, and she has a smile that seems to be a permanent fixture. Fernanda is already a cherished member of her foster family, which includes a young child, another dog, and a cat, and she embraces every aspect of family life with enthusiasm.
Ideal Home
Fernanda would be a wonderful addition to a home with children, another playful dog, or even a dog-savvy cat. She thrives on being included in everyday family activities, whether it's movie nights, backyard playtime, or simply lounging nearby. As long as she's surrounded by love, she's sure to blossom.
Ongoing Health
Fernanda is up-to-date on all her vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. She has tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Fernanda is excelling in her training. She is quiet and relaxed in her kennel, is nearly fully potty trained with very few accidents, and walks beautifully on a leash. She is gentle, easy to handle, and will continue to learn respectful boundaries with her feline housemates.

Transporation
Fernanda is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
