Fudge is a remarkably brave and loyal puppy with a heart of gold and a funny, playful side. She's a smart cookie who's always up for a game of fetch or an adventure, and she's incredibly athletic. She loves to run, jump and climb, and she's always ready for a new challenge. Despite her small size, she is a very protective puppy and will always alert you to strangers and protect you in any situation. She's a very curious puppy, and is always eager to learn new things. She's been known to be a bit anxious, but with a loving family who can give her the attention and care she needs, she will flourish. She is good with other dogs, making her the perfect addition to any family. She's a dignified lady who knows what she wants. She discovered toys today, which seemed foreign to her, and now is embracing stuffed animals and her favorite soccer balls. She knows to go into her kennel when prompted with or without treats. Her fur is so puppy soft, and she loves cuddles on the couch.
Ideal Home
Fudge needs a home that has patience and understands that she needs the room to go when she gets the zoomies and plenty of playtime to burn off her occasional bouts of hyperactive energy and anxiousness. She takes time to warm up to because of her abusive history, so it caused her to have trust issues with new people and different environments. She does not like you to be near her face or in her personal space. Given her previous bite history, she would likely do best in an adult-only home without other pets.
Ongoing Health
Fudge occasionally takes prescription medication for anxiousness when she is feeling overwhelmed. She is Spayed, Microchipped, Up to date on all vaccines, flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, dewormed, and heartworm negative.
Training & Support
Fudge needs slow introductions with people. She is still learning to trust, so patience and understanding are key to her success.

Transporation
Fudge is currently located in Alice, Texas. We are able to transport her to potential adopters within a reasonable distance.
