Zeus McGoose has the kind of ears that deserve their own fan club! With his golden-red locks, cute freckles, and expressive forehead wrinkles, he looks like he stepped right out of a storybook. But his good looks are just the beginning – Zeus is also sweet, fun, and easygoing. He enjoys his toys, especially squeaky ones, and loves to lounge in the sunshine. He's playful without being wild and affectionate without being clingy, making him the perfect companion for many adventures.
Zeus is approximately 2 years old and weighs around 28 lbs. We believe he might be a Cocker Spaniel mix, but whatever his breed, he's a genetic jackpot!
Ideal Home
Zeus would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can play with his toys and enjoy sunbathing. He has done wonderfully with smaller dogs in his foster home and enjoys having buddies to run around with. We are happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with a dog that has a similar temperament to yours. While we haven't seen him with children yet, we believe he has great potential to be a wonderful family dog for a family with older kids.
Ongoing Health
Zeus is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been neutered.
Training & Support
Zeus is a smart cookie who already knows how to sit and takes treats very gently. He is eager to please, making him fun to train. He is crate trained and doing very well with potty training, with accidents being rare.

Zeus is currently fostered in Texas. We offer nationwide transport via our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
