Yara is a 7-year-old German Shepherd mix with classic, striking good looks and a soulful presence that’s impossible to ignore. With her long, graceful build, plush black and tan coat, and perfectly perky ears, she’s a dream come true for any shepherd lover. Yara has been waiting patiently for two months and urgently needs someone to take a chance on her and give her the life she deserves. She has a beautifully balanced energy level – calm and gentle, yet still playful and happy to romp around with other dogs. Ideal Home

Yara would do best in an adults-only home where she can move freely without worry of knocking over little ones.

Ongoing Health

Yara may need a standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you. The shelter can likely help with this.

Training & Support

Yara is great on leash, potty trained, sociable with both people and other pups, and knows basic commands like sit and give paw. Extra training should be a breeze!
