Hemlock

Hemlock is a sweet pup with a nose for adventure! He's a handsome Beagle and Lab mix, about 1 year old as of April 2026, and weighs around 25 lbs. Hemlock is looking for his forever home where he can trot alongside his humans on sniffy walks, play to his heart's content, and enjoy all the comforts of home. He promises to return your love with adoring gazes and unwavering loyalty. When he was in foster care, Hemlock was described as a bit shy initially, but once he warms up and trusts you, his sweet and loving personality shines through, making him an incredibly rewarding companion.

Ideal Home

Hemlock would thrive in a home where he can have plenty of opportunities to run and play. For added confidence in certain home settings that might be loud or intense, he would do better with another dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Hemlock has been treated for heartworms. While this condition is not contagious to people or other pets, it is serious if left untreated. After treatment, dogs like Hemlock can lead full, active lives as long as they are kept on monthly heartworm preventative. He has completed the necessary rest period following his treatment.

Training & Support

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken, but all dogs are working on their crate training. Hemlock is a bit shy and takes time to get comfortable in new situations, so patience and understanding will be key as he settles in.
