About Daisy Ark
If happiness could be bottled up and turned into a dog, we're pretty sure it would look a lot like Daisy June! This itty-bitty pittie girl wakes up every day ready to have the best day ever. Whether she's making new friends, zooming around the yard, playing with toys, learning something new, or simply hanging out with her favorite people, Daisy approaches life with so much joy that it's impossible not to smile when you're around her. She has one of those personalities that brightens a room the second she walks into it. Daisy is approximately 3 years old, weighs just 45 lbs, and we believe she may be a Pittie mix. She's an adorable little pocket-sized pittie with the cutest ears, the biggest smile, and enough personality packed into her tiny body to keep you entertained for years. Daisy is dog-friendly and absolutely loves making canine friends. She loves to play, play, play and would happily spend her day zooming around the yard, playing chase, wrestling with friends, and generally having the time of her life. The best part is that she does know how to settle down once she's gotten her fun out. She's not a nonstop energizer bunny. She just likes to get her wiggles out first before finding a cozy spot for a nap. While Daisy would love a doggy friend, she doesn't need one to be happy. She's naturally a happy girl all on her own. If she's going to be your one and only, she'll just need an active family committed to making sure she gets the exercise, enrichment, and adventures she craves. Daisy also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. One of our favorite things about Daisy is how eager she is to engage with her people. She loves treats, loves learning, and genuinely seems to enjoy working alongside her humans. She's the type of dog that makes training fun because she's always excited to participate. Daisy is still a young lady with lots of enthusiasm for life, she is still polishing up some of her manners. When she gets excited, she likes to show it. Sometimes that means a little jumping. Sometimes that means using her mouth in a playful, friendly way. It's simply Daisy being so thrilled to see you that her body occasionally forgets how to contain all the excitement. The good news? Daisy is eager to please and would absolutely thrive with someone willing to continue teaching her structure, boundaries, and consistency. She's the type of dog that wants to learn and wants to make you happy. Daisy is crate trained, potty trained, and already has a wonderful foundation to build upon. With continued guidance, she's going to make an incredible companion. Between those adorable ears, her goofy grin, and her overall zest for life, Daisy has a way of making even the hardest days feel a little brighter. She's funny without trying to be. Charming without knowing it. And her happiness is genuinely contagious.
Ideal Home
Because of her playful nature, Daisy would be happiest in a home with a backyard where she can run, zoom, play with toys, sunbathe, and enjoy being her active little self. We also think she'd thrive with a semi-active family that enjoys getting out, doing things, and including their dog in the fun.
