Meet Brody – a 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix with the perfect blend of playful energy and easygoing charm. Brody is a lovable goofball who enjoys both outdoor adventures and cozy days at home. He’s happy to participate in holiday festivities or themed events, especially when he's with his people.
Ideal Home
Brody would thrive in a home with a secure backyard where he can enjoy off-leash play. He gets along well with friendly, laid-back female dogs and would be happy as the only dog in the household as long as he has space to run. He has done well with children and is recommended for a home with older, dog-savvy kids (8-10+) who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. Brody is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Brody is a healthy boy ready for his forever home.
Training & Support
Brody is housebroken and crate trained, and does well when left unsupervised in his crate. He walks calmly on a loose leash. He is smart, food-motivated, and eager to please. With continued positive experiences and calm guidance, Brody is adapting well, though he can get a little excited around assertive male dogs. He would benefit from a home that offers structure, consistency, and encouragement, and would enjoy activities like scent work, agility, or basic obedience classes. An owner experienced with breeds like Cattle Dogs or Pitbulls would be ideal.
